Hivjufossen is an impressive waterfall and a nice hike. The tour is about 3 km and it is a great family outing.
The path starts from RV 50 ca. 300 meters below Bakke bridge. Go go up the steep trail to Hivjufossen. About halfway up to the waterfall, at Hivjudokkgrovi ther are remains of an old settlement.
Hivjufossen is a great sight, the whole waterfall is approximately 250 meters. There is a distinction between the upper and lower falls.
